Job Summary
Load and unload trailers and railcars, transporting loads to designated areas while checking inbound and outbound products for accuracy and damage. Use handheld scanners for warehouse management system compliance and assist in cycle counts and physical inventories. Perform daily maintenance inspections, recharge batteries, fill fuel tanks, or replace gas tanks as needed. Adhere to safety policies and company procedures to complete tasks timely while maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly facility. Work cooperatively with warehouse associates under direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift
- May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Able to work in a non-temperature controlled warehouse
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
