Job Summary
Operate a high reach forklift safely to load, unload trailers, railcars, and transports, ensuring product accuracy and damage checks. Perform daily equipment maintenance inspections and use handheld scanners for warehouse management system compliance. Work cooperatively with associates to maintain a clean facility and complete additional duties assigned by the supervisor. This Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm role requires forklift certification, 1 year of operating experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift
- Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform physically exerting tasks of the jobs in a warehouse environment that may be non-temperature controlled
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation
- Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed
- Stand up and high reach experience
- Forklift certified
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with RF equipment
- Warehouse experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience in a food grade, refrigerated warehouse
- Familiarity with and ability to use order management systems such as WMS
