Job Summary
Operate powered industrial equipment to move materials throughout the facility, transporting products packed on pallets or in crates to designated areas for production, storage, and shipping. Perform daily equipment checks including recharging batteries and lubricating machinery, while examining products to verify conformance to quality standards. Utilize production schedules and shipping orders to ensure loads are secure and notify supervisors of misplaced pallets. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following facility guidelines and wearing required protective equipment. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, handling products in temperatures ranging from 28 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months PIT operating experience
- Minimum 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer in the last 12 months
- Math, reading and writing skills
- Basic computer skills
- Clean driving record
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
- Able to stand for several hours
- Work may include lifting (35 to 65 lbs) to heights from 5" to 84", reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly
- May need to have the ability to operate standup lift for 9 plus hours
