Job Summary
Position: Forklift Operator - 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm) at LiDestri Foods in Fairport, NY. Responsibilities include guiding rail cars into receiving bays, unloading/loading inventory, using RF scanner guns, moving/locating/relocating/stacking/counting inventory, following GMP protocols, and reporting food safety/quality issues. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, PPE proficiency, basic computer and math skills, and prior forklift experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Works in a manufacturing setting with exposure to loud, hot/cold, and wet/dry conditions; physically capable of lifting/carrying under 50 pounds. Health benefits and competitive compensation offered.
Required Qualifications

- Previous experience operating forklift in a fast paced environment
- Ability to wear PPE (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net, Kevlar gloves, safety glasses, leather boots)
