Job Summary
Ensure compliance with food safety and GMP requirements while participating in plant QA and HSE systems. Transport finished goods and materials, safely load and unload trailers, and de-palletize, stretch wrap, and move pallets to storage. Read Bills of Lading and shipping logs, reconcile inventories, and stage products for shipping. Maintain safe dock areas through orderly traffic flow and use required safety equipment. Requires forklift certification and experience, continuous standing for 2–3 hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs. PC knowledge is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent (i.e. GED)
- Critical Reading - Be able to follow instructions, read and understand equipment manuals and procedures
- Basic Math knowledge
- 2-3 years of Warehouse Experience
- Standing continuously for at least 2 – 3 hours at one time
- Frequent- Lifting, Rotating and Stooping with up to 5 Lbs
- Occasional- Lifting, rotating, and stooping with up to 25 Lbs
- Infrequent- Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs
- PC knowledge
