Job Summary
Forklift Mechanic to maintain and repair a range of forklifts and material handling equipment including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems; perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, troubleshoot, rebuild components, assist with safety inspections, and support equipment availability in a manufacturing environment. Responsible for documenting work and maintaining maintenance records, with emphasis on safe operations and continuous improvement. Requires knowledge of CMMS/maintenance software, and experience with various lift equipment and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing industrial forklifts or similar mobile equipment
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment failures
- Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance software systems
- Valid driver's license
