Job Summary
Complete all assigned service jobs with expert precision, documenting and recommending additional repairs to prepare customer quotes. Collaborate with the Shop Foreman and Service Manager on technical challenges, attend training classes for new products, and submit daily paperwork including timecards and maintenance reports. Maintain a tidy shop environment, assist fellow technicians, and strictly follow safety protocols while repairing powered industrial equipment. Requires two years of experience with forklift trucks, diesel, LP gas, and electric vehicles, plus certification to operate material handling equipment. Based in Bolingbrook, IL, this role supports the mission to move, store, and power the world more efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as either a diesel mechanic/technician, heavy duty mechanic, or forklift mechanic/technician
- Masterful skills in repairing powered industrial equipment
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience fixing forklift trucks and other products we represent, including LP Gas, diesel, and electric trucks
- Successful completion of required training courses
- Certification to operate material handling equipment
- Ownership of tools necessary for repairs, as per our recommended tool list
