Job Summary
Repair and service lift trucks, diagnose problems, and perform physical inspections of equipment as required. Operate lift trucks and other machinery when assigned. Maintain mechanical aptitude while recognizing letters and numbers to troubleshoot issues effectively. Lift up to 75 pounds and work without fear of heights. Monday through Friday 6am to 2:45pm. Occasional travel out of town may be required. Meyer Distributing serves dealers nationwide with 85+ locations and operates a fleet of 500+ trucks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Must not be fearful of heights
- Must have mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to recognize letters and numbers
- Must be flexible to occasionally travel out of town
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in forklift repair or as a diesel mechanic
