Forklift Mechanic

Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance on industrial mobile equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers, and golf carts. Troubleshoot equipment failures using root cause analysis and historical data from the Field Connect service platform. Complete all repairs per manufacturer guidelines while maintaining accurate work order documentation and service records. Conduct equipment audits per PM Planning tools schedules and ensure all work adheres to safety requirements and customer standards. Maintain accurate time entries in the Paylocity platform. Requires strong mechanical and electrical repair skills with proven experience in electric forklift repair. Must be willing to travel to multiple sites and work with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Strong equipment repair, mechanical and/or electrical skills
- Must have proven experience in electric Forklift Repair
- Willing and ability to travel to multiple sites
- Self-motivated and ability to manage time and attendance
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to crouch
- Must be able to move in confined areas
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of a Service Technician
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- A valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Hydraulics experience
- Conveyor experience
- Some computer skills
- Familiar with using a computer
- CDL
