Forklift Mechanic (A1) Day Shift Mon-Thurs

Job Summary
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts and material handling equipment while performing preventive maintenance on pallet jacks and warehouse gear. Repair electric, propane, and diesel forklifts, replacing worn components like motors, bearings, chains, and batteries. Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, brakes, and steering parts, and maintain service records and maintenance logs for all equipment. Conduct safety inspections to ensure OSHA compliance and support repairs on dock doors, levelers, and conveyor systems. Maintain a clean work environment and coordinate with operations teams to address equipment issues quickly.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience repairing forklifts or industrial equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Experience troubleshooting electric and internal combustion forklifts
- Ability to read service manuals and wiring diagrams
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
- Posses a drivers license with a clean MVR
- Must be able to take pre-placement physical
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must be able to enroll in to direct deposit
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in forklift repair or industrial maintenance
- Experience with brands such as Toyota, Hyster, and Yale
- Welding or fabrication experience
- OSHA safety knowledge
