Job Summary
Collect and deliver raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products while rotating stock, loading, and unloading skids. Identify materials to ensure correct supply, move and store items, and clear scrap. Operate a forklift truck by maintaining it, completing daily safety inspections, and notifying supervision of operational issues. Work from production schedules and orders, assist other departments as needed, and perform cycle counts. Ensure all material is properly labeled prior to transport and maintain clean, orderly work areas. Adhere to safety rules, PPE requirements, and HFI/mill claim processes. Requires forklift certification, three to five years of manufacturing experience, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- At least three to five years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
- Exposure/experience to manufacturing
- Forklift Certified
- Understands quality, PPE requirements and safety and the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures
- Must attain a good understanding of HFI and mill claim processes
