Job Summary
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and stack pallets and ULDs within Unilode's facilities. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs while ensuring safe, efficient operations following prescribed work methods. Maintain storage areas in a neat, clean, organized manner and assist with disposal of packaging materials and general housekeeping tasks. Accurately track inventory movement and handle manual ULD and container movements to support operational needs. This role requires physical activity, including lifting heavy loads, with shift flexibility for evenings and weekends. Strict adherence to health, safety, and security regulations is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift license
- At least one year of experience in a logistics or warehouse setting
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
- Knowledge of freight handling
- Knowledge of inventory procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Flexible attitude
- Ability to lift, pull, and push heavy loads
- Shift flexibility to accommodate operational demands including evenings and weekends
- Strict adherence to health, safety, and security regulations
