Job Summary
Load and unload truck trailers, process materials, and manage storage and retrieval within the warehouse facility using forklifts and handling equipment. Move materials to and from aircraft and trucks while adhering to BLS policies, DOT, OSHA safety rules, and C-TPAT best practices. Maintain a positive image with employees, customers, and the community while following ISO-9001, ISO-14001, and OHSAS 18000 standards. Requires two years of forklift experience and current certification.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Two or more years forklift experience
- Current forklift certification
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of (US) currency, weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

- Ability to tolerate moderate/noisy noise level in the work environment
- Ability to attend and complete all company development, safety and compliance training
- Ability to adhere to all BLS policies, procedures, DOT and OSHA safety rules and regulations
- Ability to follow Strict adherence to C-TPAT best practices
- Ability to follow all workplace processes and standards in support of the ISO-9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 18000:2007 Quality certification programs
