Job Summary
Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and moves them to and from storage areas. Maintain inventory, perform cycle counts, and provide production with all required materials. Safely transport dry/frozen ingredients or finished goods, manually offload containers onto pallets, and move goods to designated areas. Load/unload from trucks per schedule; inspect trucks for cleanliness; verify COA deliveries; ensure correct silo/container storage for sugar and flour; follow FIFO; provide samples to R&D/QA/Production/Customer Service; stack and sort pallets; assist with daily cycle counts and forklift inspections; keep warehouse organized and compliant with food safety, cGMPs, and GMP prerequisites. Education and certification include a high school diploma or higher and forklift certification for stand-up operation, with the ability to operate rider pallet jacks and handle weights 30-50 lbs in a loud environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, equivalent or higher
- Forklift certified on Stand up/training
- Operate rider pallet jacks
- Ability to frequently convert weight measurements
- Able to work in a loud environment with hearing protection
