Forklift Driver/Material Handler FULL-TIME DAY SHIFT

Job Summary
Review the daily production schedule to verify warehouse supplies and deliver them to production lines, then haul finished pack stock to the shipping warehouse. Safely operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and moving product while pulling supplies from the oldest dates. Transfer stock, fill out pack cards with product dates and codes, and conduct weekly inventory counts. Gather supplies from other plant areas and unload pallet trailers, while assisting management with tier sheets and slip sheets. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to hold tag procedures for BBQ and Spun products. This role supports the Plant's production flow and requires working in extreme cold and heat conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Trained on forklift use and safety
- Driver's license required
- Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds continuously
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must have strong organizational skills and able to prioritize
- Good problem-solving skills
- Some computer skills are necessary
- Close vision abilities required
- Able to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel
- Required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must maintain an attitude of dignity and respect when interacting with each other
