Job Summary
Operate a counterbalance stand-up forklift safely in a warehouse setting, perform pre-shift vehicle safety checks, label pallets for production tracking, move packaging and finished goods with pallet jacks, maintain a clean and safe work environment, communicate effectively with multiple departments, assist in organizing the warehouse, re-palletize finished goods when needed, and transfer pallets from Production to Warehouse. Must follow plant policies, GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, SQF, HACCP, and safety procedures; maintain documentation; and be willing to work occasional overtime and weekends. This role requires 2+ years of standup forklift experience, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and English fluency for reading SOPs and manuals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years of standup forklift operating experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Fluent in English; able to read English documents (SOPs, operating manuals)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic math skills and familiarity with weights and measures
- Comfort with using pallet jacks and basic computer systems
- Ability to follow GMP, SOP, SSOP, SQF, HACCP procedures
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as determined by Warehouse Supervisor
- Able to prioritize tasks and maintain safety standards
