Job Summary
Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move supplies, load and unload deliveries, and stage materials for painting and coating crews at the Micron Semiconductor Facility in Boise, Idaho. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns while adhering to OSHA regulations, site rules, and PPC safety policies. Maintain clean, organized work areas and pass required drug and Fit4Duty tests. This union position through IUPAT DC5 involves night shifts with possible weekend work and extended hours. Candidates must have valid forklift certification and experience in construction or industrial environments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification
- Must be able to pass site-specific requirements, orientations, and screenings
- Reliable transportation
- Consistent attendance
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a Fit4Duty test
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Must be comfortable working extended hours and overtime as required by the project schedule
- Must be willing to join the union if not already members
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience operating forklifts in construction or industrial environments
- Experience on large-scale industrial projects
