Job Summary
Unload and load trucks manually or using material handling equipment, including forklifts, tow motors, and pallet jacks. Receive hard goods and live goods into the business system against purchase orders, verifying quantities and quality. Facilitate proper sorting, labeling, scanning, handling, and storage of inbound shipments while reporting discrepancies to support corrective action. Load outbound trucks in the correct sequence to support efficient delivery and meet on-time and in-full goals. Collaborate with drivers, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely movement of freight. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area meeting OSHA standards. Work in a plant or outdoor facility, lifting up to 50lbs and pushing/pulling up to 200lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
- Must be at 18 years old
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as required by business volume
- Ability to read and speak English
- CDL license or tug/forklift certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prior warehouse, cross-dock, logistics, or freight handling experience
- Basic computer literacy or ability to learn scanning and warehouse systems
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
