Job Summary
Forklift Operator at DSV – Global Transport and Logistics. Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order picker and related MHE to move, store, and stage products in a warehouse, using RF scanning for put-away and picking. Maintain safe, organized work areas, perform basic cycle counts, housekeeping (5S), and follow OHSA safety guidelines. Requires 1-3 years of warehouse experience and a valid forklift license (multiple types). Position is full-time on-site in Milton, Canada, with salary starting at $22.50 per hour and benefits; strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Valid certified Forklift license for Sit-down/Counterbalance, Reach and Cherry Picker, Dock Stocker, Forklift Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack
- Proficient with RF scanning and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Ability to perform basic math and strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Safety-conscious with OHSA standards compliance
