Job Summary
Receive goods from customers and suppliers by offloading and loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, and reporting discrepancies or damages. Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, hand jacks, and Unit Load Devices for palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding. Load and unload trailers or ocean containers while preparing outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and handling ULDs. Sign off Bills of Lading accurately, verify counts, and stage cargo safely within the warehouse. Handle logistics accounts, picking, packing, and inventory reporting to achieve quality standards. Execute Dock-to-Stock procedures and maintain building perimeter security. Complete weekly bond checks and handle bonded import freight into the External Temporary Storage facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess good physical stamina and coordination
- Could be required to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs
- Applicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer
- Ability to work flexible hours and/or days
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse / freight forwarder experience
- Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders, etc.
- Ability to speak Spanish
