Job Summary
Move product into the facility, transport manufactured goods out, deliver purchased materials to production areas, and distribute small parts to manufacturing zones. Perform manual work handling across various departments while maintaining balance and strength for frequent lifting, carrying, stooping, and reaching tasks. Operate a forklift during the 1st shift (7 am - 3:30 pm) at Allegion's Steelcraft facility, supporting material requirements for frame and door production.
Required Qualifications
- ability to see well, including strong depth perception and the ability to distinguish between colors
- ability to continuously or near continuously stand and maintain balance
- ability to frequently (4 or more hours per day) lift, carry (25-50 lbs.), stoop, twist, and reach (overhead and to the side)
- ability to occasionally walk, push & pull heavy carts
- ability to climb, kneel, and crouch
