Job Summary
Operate a forklift to move, stack, and relocate merchandise throughout the facility, load and unload trucks, and prepare orders for shipment using the vehicle and manual methods. Conduct routine safety checks, report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor, and maintain accurate inventory and shipping records. Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate gear, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely product delivery. Work the 3rd shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating a forklift
- Knowledge of forklift safety procedures and guidelines
- Knowledge of forklift safety procedures
- Knowledge of safe material handling practices
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong communication skills
