Job Summary
Forklift Driver position (2nd shift) at Vans Kitchen to safely operate forklifts and manage inventory across warehouse, freezer, dock, and production areas. Responsibilities include operating lift trucks, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts; maintaining a safe, clean environment; labeling, sorting, and relocating items; managing inventory via scanning system; coordinating with warehouse clerk on shipping schedules; using tablets/scanners; documenting material usage and receiving logs; reporting damages or shortages; conducting inventory counts; covering duties if needed; working in cold environments; adhering to GMP and food safety standards; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; on-site work in Dallas, TX. Certifications required: forklift certification; RF scanner experience; strong reading/writing skills. Must have prior forklift experience and warehousing/manufacturing exposure; detail-oriented with ability to multi-task; comfortable in a dock/warehouse environment with potential exposure to cold and chemicals.
