Job Summary
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods efficiently and safely within the warehouse and yard. Move products to designated areas, perform daily equipment checks, and report any issues. Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation while following all safety procedures and company policies. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. Valid forklift certification or willingness to be trained is required, along with proven experience operating similar equipment. This role supports Premier ProduceOne's mission to deliver excellence in produce distribution through a team dedicated to quality and service.
Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification/license (or willingness to be trained)
- Proven experience operating forklifts or similar equipment
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must pass a drug test
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check
