Job Summary
Forklift operator on 3rd shift at Saputo with pay of $27.14/hour plus shift differential. Responsible for trailer inspections, loading/unloading using RFID scanners, accurate paperwork, receiving product with correct counts and lot information, ensuring outbound shipments meet weight and quality standards, put-away, replenishment, and full pallet picking. Performs daily PIT inspections, adheres to GMP and food safety regulations, reports hazards, attends required trainings, and may work overtime. Must be able to read/write English, meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs), work in cold environments, and operate material handling equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work assigned schedule including weekends and holidays
- Basic math knowledge
- Demonstrated work history
- Ability to meet physical demands (stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb; lift up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to work in cold environments and around moving equipment
- Good visual acuity with color vision and depth perception
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
