Job Summary
Conduct palletizer and unitizer operations, including changeovers, troubleshooting jams, and ensuring finish product quality. Safely operate all material handling equipment, batteries, and chargers while moving and positioning finished goods and materials from trucks or rail into designated facility areas. Load and unload all assigned loads of finished goods and materials. Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards and comply with customer service requirements, DOT, and HAZMAT labeling protocols. Work 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) or 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM) at a starting rate of $27.11 plus shift differential. Complete required multiskilled training and hold a Clorox licensed forklift operator qualification.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years fork truck/lift experience
- Complete all applicable Distribution Department Multiskilled training checklists up to and including Block 4
- Ability to perform as a Clorox licensed forklift operator, with additional qualification for use of attachments
- Knowledge of Palletizer/Unitizer operations skills to include changeover, adjustment and maintenance, safety procedures and clearing of routine jams and troubleshooting skills to maintain the highest operating standers
- Knowledge of computers, SAP, read and write e-mail
- Knowledge of warehouse housekeeping practices
- Knowledge of warehouse standards, practices, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of finished case quality standards
- Knowledge of DOT and HAZMAT labeling requirements
- Candidate must be open to either shift
