Fork Lift Operator/Pallet Jack

Job Summary
Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner to move, load, unload, stage, and transport materials within the Domestic Department. Load and unload trailers according to shipping and receiving schedules; move finished goods and raw materials to designated warehouse locations; pick and prepare orders for domestic shipments; verify quantities, labels, and shipment documentation for accuracy; conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain clean work areas, follow OSHA and safety policies, assist with inventory and cycle counts, and support team members to meet production and shipping goals. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment; prior forklift/electric pallet jack experience and certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous forklift and/or electric pallet jack experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification through company training
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and shipping procedures
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
