Job Summary
Operate forklift to move, unload/load and transport product on the production floor; study production schedule to determine material requirements and deliveries; monitor and maintain inventory; complete daily documentation and checklists for vehicle operation; identify and report equipment or vehicle issues; ensure safe, timely delivery of materials and products with zero damage; maintain clean, safe work environment and perform routine equipment checks; contribute to safety programs (OSHA/PPE) and follow defined procedures; collaborate with Plant Manager and team to support production goals; prior experience with corrugated industry and warehouse inventory is preferred; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, and PTO; location: Batavia, IL.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Basic mechanical skills
- Basic proof-reading and math skills
- Customer service driven and focused
- Participate in requested or required training
- Exhibit warehouse inventory knowledge
- Follow precise instructions
- Maintain excellent documentation skills
- Maintain knowledge of safety measures needed for Fork-lift Operator
- Judge distances
