Job Summary
Forge Press Team Member needed for a 3rd shift (overnights) at Columbus Forge in Midland, GA. This onsite role involves setting up and operating forging presses and related machines, forming and shaping metal, inspecting machined parts, reading work orders/blueprints, selecting and aligning dies and fixtures, and coordinating with colleagues to ensure adherence to specifications and safety requirements. Candidate will monitor operations for malfunctions, move pieces through dies, and trim/compress forgings to spec. Requires HS diploma or GED and 1+ year of manufacturing experience; shift is Monday–Thursday with overnight schedule and a shift differential is offered.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of experience in manufacturing environment or similar industry
- Schedule flexibility
- U.S. citizenship is required
