Job Summary
Entry-level and beyond manufacturing roles in Scot Forge’s metal fabrication and production environment. Responsibilities include grinding material defects with hand or overhead grinders, repairing forge tools with a welder or grinder, coordinating pre-forge loads with forge personnel, loading/unloading and operating furnaces to maintain production schedules, removing scrap and recording weights, locating material and inspecting for defects, transporting materials and forgings, and operating heavy equipment such as long-reach forklifts. Additional duties include fueling support equipment, performing housekeeping, adhering to safety policies, and supporting a safe work environment. Preferred skills include reading a tape measure and interpreting blueprints, experience with micrometers/calipers, and prior heavy equipment operation or crane rigging.
