Job Summary
Forestry Technician responsible for boundary and road layout for future harvesting, assessing riparian features, traversing boundary and road locations for map creation, data collection for crossings and site plans, ecology type identification and stratification, mapping logging hazards, completing road engineering estimates and field surveys, and assisting timber cruisers in the field. Requires ability to work in physically strenuous and varying terrains, willingness to travel away from home, experience with GPS/Avenza/maps, and a safety-conscious outdoor work mindset.
Required Qualifications
