Job Summary
Provide instructional services to educate all students to high standards in alignment with district, state, and federal requirements. The role focuses on multilingual learners (MLL/ENL) instruction within an Indiana school district for the 2026-2027 school year. The position requires a valid Indiana teaching license (or eligibility for an alternative credential) and relevant ENL/MLL endorsements, with knowledge of lesson plan development and classroom instruction. The Early Literacy Endorsement is required for teachers who work with retained grade 3 students. The work schedule is 7:45am–3:45pm. Fort Wayne, Indiana (FWCS) is the location, with a full-time, in-person assignment and a benefits package included.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
- REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options: English as a New Language P-12; Teachers of English Learners P-12
- Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement requires teachers who teach retained grade 3 students to hold or be working toward the Early Literacy Endorsement to align with the science of reading standards for the 26-27 school year.
- Must possess knowledge of effective practices, including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
