Job Summary
Provide instructional services to educate all students to high standards that align with district, state, and federal requirements, guidelines, and standards. Work Schedule: School Year; .5 contract (4 hours per day) with potential to combine two .5 positions for a 1.0. Responsibilities include designing and delivering lessons for Exceptional Needs with Mild Intervention, adhering to Early Literacy Endorsement requirements for retained grade 3 students, and applying effective practices in lesson plan development and classroom instruction. Must hold or be eligible for an Indiana teaching license (or alternative credential) and be prepared to meet REPA/REPA 3 licensure options. Attach proof of Early Literacy Endorsement as required. This is a part-time role for the 2026-2027 school year in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential
- REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options: Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention
- Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement requires teachers who teach retained grade 3 students to hold or be working toward the Early Literacy Endorsement
- Must possess knowledge of effective practices, including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction
