Job Summary
Support tree seedling production in greenhouses and outdoor areas while learning forest nursery activities. Work independently and efficiently under the guidance of a Nursery Manager, committing to quality and safety standards. Perform repetitive tasks standing for long periods, lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly. Join the PRT Armstrong team for seasonal cone picking work starting July 27, 2026, through August 2026. Earn $18.92/hour with potential transition to piecework. Full training provided; no prior experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to get to the PRT Armstrong site daily
- Interested in and able to work in all types of outdoor environmental conditions
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour work shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs repeatedly through the entire shift
- Appropriate work attire
- Good manual dexterity and eyesight
- A team-oriented personality with a positive attitude
- A desire to learn and contribute to forest regeneration
