Job Summary
Intervention Aide supports instruction and remediation for individual and small groups under teacher direction. Responsibilities include clerical tasks (grading, data records, filing, bulletin boards), supervising students (playground, hallways, drills), assisting with daily/long-range lesson planning, helping students with computers, screening students with guidance from teachers or principal, and accompanying classes on field trips. Requires an educational aide permit or willingness to obtain one. Highly Qualified via ESEA designation on permit, Parapro Examination, or equivalent education (Associate's Degree or 48 semester hours/72 quarter hours).
