Job Summary
Foreperson coordinates crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies to complete all jobs according to contract specifications. Directs and assigns tasks, plans and executes work safely and professionally, and organizes job assignments for efficiency. Communicates with property owners/customers, ensures PPE and safety practices, and supervises tree trimming/removal and herbicide applications. Maintains records of time, equipment, and materials; conducts daily truck inspections and job briefs; travels for storm restoration as needed; requires a valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle; must be able to work outdoors in varying conditions and obtain first-aid certification and CPR. The role supports supervisory responsibilities with crew coordination and ensuring compliance with drawings, symbols, and line equipment knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
- Must have and maintain a Driver’s License
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR
- Must be able to travel out of town for storm restoration work when needed
- Must be able to operate and service all required tools and equipment
