Job Summary
Direct site activities for highway, pipeline, or construction projects, including reading blueprints, recording daily events in job diaries, and scheduling materials and equipment. Analyze crew and site safety plans, obtain quantities for billing, and review cost reports for production adjustments. Conduct site meetings, E&S meetings, and job turnover sessions while communicating goals and representing the company professionally to customer representatives. Enforce company values, ensure compliance, and anticipate customer needs within the Pocono Lake Division of The H&K Group, Inc.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- One year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Mathematical skills including probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Problem solving
- Basic computer skills including Internet, email, and the use of digital cameras for work documentation
- Driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of related experience and/or training
- Supervisory experience
- OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
