Job Summary
Lead residential and commercial tree care crews in Greensboro and Raleigh, NC, executing daily tasks including tree removals, pruning, stump grinding, storm remediation, and debris removal. Provide leadership and guidance to field staff, monitor site safety conditions, and ensure all work complies with job specifications and company policies. Notify property owners, secure access permissions, and maintain above-standard customer relations by inspecting completed jobs and addressing issues proactively. Track crew hours, submit daily reports through Arborgold software, and oversee equipment usage and cleanup. Full-time role with benefits, paying $27-$37 per hour. Requires valid driver's license, clean MVR, and ability to pass background check and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meets and demonstrates qualifications for all positions on a crew
- Ability to read and understand work orders
- Experience in safe operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Able to adjust to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must meet I-9 requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience within the Tree or Landscape Management Industry (preferred)
- Prior experience in residential/ commercial vegetation management, construction, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
- Knowledge of botanical and common names of trees and plants is a plus
