Job Summary
Foreperson coordinates crew members, equipment, and supplies to complete contract vegetation-management and tree-trimming work; directs daily tasks, plans work safely and efficiently, inspects performance, and maintains records. Responsibilities include notifying property owners, ensuring PPE and safety practices, loading/unloading trucks, operating or servicing tools, and performing storm-restoration duties as needed. Requires active CDL, valid driver's license, ability to travel for storm work, and compliance with I-9/E-Verify. Strong communication with customers/owners, ability to read drawings/symbols, and capability to supervise crew with independence in field conditions; CPR/first-aid certification and background/drug screening are part of the process.
Required Qualifications
- Active CDL
- High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Must be able to travel out of town for storm restoration work
- Must obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR
- Must meet I-9 requirements; company participates in E-Verify
- Ability to operate and service tools and equipment; knowledge of drawings and symbols representing lines and voltages
- Ability to supervise crew and delegate tasks; ensure PPE and safe practices
