Job Summary
Direct crew members and manage equipment daily, planning and executing specific tasks in a safe, professional manner. Perform daily reporting using the AMS system to submit timesheets and billing information, while maintaining accurate records of time, equipment, and material usage. Notify property owners of presence, obtain permission for tree trimming or herbicide application, and discuss access, power interruptions, and work scope with customers. Oversee equipment and material usage, ensure cleanup, and secure all supplies on the truck. Assist in personnel management, delegate work, and take accountability for crew performance while maintaining above-standard customer relations. Possess a valid driver's license and clean MVR, with a requirement to meet I-9 work authorization standards.
Required Qualifications
- Two years' experience in Vegetation Management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meets I-9 requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Ability to read and understand contract requirements
- Knowledge of botanical and common names of trees and plants
- Experience in safe operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Able to adjust to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries
