Job Summary
Lead a crew to various job sites, directing equipment and planning arboricultural tasks such as pruning, thinning, deadwood removal, and hazardous tree elimination. Safely operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts while maintaining company safety policies. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to newer team members, manage customer service expectations, and perform tree inspections. Requires ISA certification, 2+ years of arborist experience, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Full-time year-round role with $25-$35/hour wage.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Arborist
- ISA certification or certificate of enrollment in an arboriculture program or equivalent
- Valid provincial driver's license
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement considered an asset
