Job Summary
Lead a crew to various job sites, directing equipment and planning arboricultural care including pruning, thinning, deadwood removal, and hazardous tree elimination. Safely supervise tool and equipment maintenance, manage customer service expectations, and provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members. Maintain company and industry safety policies while performing tree inspections and installing protection systems. Full-time year-round employment at $25-$35/hour with ongoing training and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Arborist
- ISA certification or certificate of enrollment in an arboriculture program or equivalent
- Valid provincial driver's license
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement considered an asset
