Job Summary
Lead a crew to various job sites throughout the week, ensuring jobs are completed right, on time, and safely. Direct crew members and equipment while planning and executing assigned tasks, including pruning, thinning, removing deadwood, installing cables and bracing, and removing hazardous trees. Supervise the proper maintenance and operation of tools such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Provide expert tree trimming services and inspections to client properties while managing customer service expectations. Mentor newer team members and maintain company safety policies. Full-time year-round employment with a wage of $25-$35/hour based on qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Arborist
- ISA certification or certificate of enrollment in an arboriculture program or equivalent
- Valid provincial driver's license
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement considered an asset
