Job Summary
Lead a crew in providing arboricultural care for clients by directing members and equipment while planning and executing assigned tasks. Safely perform tree pruning, thinning, deadwood removal, and hazardous tree removal, including installation of cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems. Supervise the maintenance and operation of hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Provide expert tree trimming services and inspections, manage customer service expectations, and mentor newer team members. Maintain Davey and industry safety policies throughout the week. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Arborist
- ISA certification or certificate of enrollment in an arboriculture program or equivalent
- Valid provincial driver's license
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement considered an asset
