Job Summary
The Director in Forensics and Litigation Services at Weaver will lead litigation support engagements and provide expert testimony, particularly in marital dissolution. Key responsibilities include overseeing business valuation models, separate property tracing, drafting expert reports, and mentoring junior staff. This role requires establishing client relationships, acquiring new business, and preparing client deliverables while working in a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA, CFE, ASA, CVA or similar license or credential
- 10+ years of public accounting, dispute consulting and/or forensic accounting experience
- Experience in forensic accounting, dispute resolution and litigation support services
- Proven ability to establish relationships, acquire new business, and prepare engagement proposals and client deliverables
- Experience supervising teams of all sizes
- Experience in managing, mentoring and developing staff
Desired Qualifications
- Experience testifying or willingness to testify as an expert witness in financial, valuation and accounting related matters
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
