Job Summary

Forensic & Valuation Services Coordinator at Dean Dorton provides operational, administrative, and analytical support to the FVS team, coordinating engagement logistics, maintaining client databases, and conducting research across forensic accounting, valuation, and litigation support engagements. The role involves coordinating onboarding and engagement documentation, initiating conflict checks and engagement letters, tracking timelines and deadlines, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality, and collaborating with Managers, Associate Directors, and Directors to support complex client work behind the scenes. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced professional services environment. Travel may be required occasionally.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field required
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, paralegal, or professional services support role
  • Prior experience in a legal, accounting, consulting, or professional services environment preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Software proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with document management/case management systems (e.g., Clio) preferred
  • Travel to Dean Dorton offices or client locations may be required
