Forensic Technologist

Perform extractions of drugs using various chemicals and pull data from GC/MS and LC/MS/MS (including Headspace GC). Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, perform quality control and QA checks, and ensure chain of custody and documentation accuracy. Prepare for regular accreditation inspections and provide testimony in legal procedures if required. Conduct qualitative/quantitative analysis per test methods, troubleshoot and calibrate instruments, manage supplies and QA controls, and assist in validation/reverification plans as directed. This is a permanent full-time, onsite role with rotational shifts (1:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.), 37.5 hours per week, located in London, Ontario. The role requires the ability to work unsupervised, strong interpersonal skills, and adherence to QA and regulatory guidelines.
