Job Summary
The Forensic Engineering Department seeks a Senior Civil or Structural Engineering professional to conduct assessments of property damages, perform site inspections utilizing advanced technology, and prepare technical reports. Responsibilities include analyzing damages from incidents like water intrusion and building envelope failures, delivering presentations, and enhancing professional knowledge through continuing education. Required qualifications include a PE license, a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, and over 10 years of forensic engineering experience. General Contractor license and expert witness experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors, Master’s, or PhD degree in Civil, Mechanical, or similar Engineering disciplines
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10+ years of previous forensic engineering and consulting experience or relevant industry experience
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Open-minded analytical skillset
- Intense curiosity to solve cases
- Strong background in necessary computer programs to evaluate incidents
Desired Qualifications
- General Contractor license strongly preferred
- Experience as an expert witness and testifying strongly preferred
