Job Summary

Monitor and observe clients to ensure safety, accountability, and stability; conduct property safety checks and maintain daily bed rosters. Assist with meal preparation and distribution, prepare bed rolls, and ensure facility cleanliness and organization. De-escalate emotionally unstable behavior, provide orientation for incoming clients, and attend to their needs while maintaining the daily activity schedule. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary staff to communicate concerns, transport clients to local facilities, and assist with referrals to continuing care.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 year of client monitoring experience working directly with SUD/MH populations
  • Basic academic knowledge and understanding of Substance Use
  • Demonstrated competency in using technology
  • Certified as a Forensic Peer Specialist or eligible to become certified
  • Experience in monitoring safety and daily activities
  • Experience observing and monitoring SUD clients in a residential setting
  • Demonstrated ability to remain emotionally stable when faced with hostility or aggression
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain facility cleanliness using facility standards

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, or Tagalog
