Forensic Nurse Examiner - CARES

Forensic Nurse Examiner provides professional, compassionate care and timely collection of forensic evidence for victims of sexual and domestic violence, elder abuse, and human trafficking referred to the CARES program. Responds to calls within 10 minutes, collaborates with advocacy agencies, ED staff, and physicians for evidence collection, documents CARES records, maintains chain of custody, and supports ongoing professional development and certification efforts within TriHealth. The role involves direct patient care in a hospital setting, within the CARES Center, and adherence to TriHealth SERVE standards.
